　　皇家墨爾本理工大學(xué)（RMIT University），又稱墨爾本皇家理工大學(xué)，是位于澳大利亞維多利亞州墨爾本的一所綜合性公立大學(xué)，是全澳歷史最悠久的高等學(xué)府之一，同時為澳大利亞科技大學(xué)聯(lián)盟中的五所科技大學(xué)之首。

　　立思辰留學(xué)介紹，早在1887年創(chuàng)建之初，RMIT就因其專業(yè)課程水準(zhǔn)而聲名鵲起。二戰(zhàn)期間，RMIT為聯(lián)軍培養(yǎng)了大量技術(shù)人才，因此伊麗莎白二世女王為RMIT授予皇家Royal冠名權(quán)，并頒發(fā)了皇家特別基金，RMIT也是澳大利亞唯一一所被大英帝國皇室授予皇家銜稱的大學(xué)機構(gòu)。在130年后的今天，RMIT已經(jīng)成為世界頂尖大學(xué)，其擁有5個全球校園，3個學(xué)院，17個科系以及470個國際認證課程，此外其擁有全澳最大的工程學(xué)院。RMIT持續(xù)為學(xué)術(shù)界、政界、商界輸入大量優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生，并因其就業(yè)率高居澳大利亞榜首而聞名遐邇。

　　2018年RMIT被QS權(quán)威認證為五星級大學(xué)。2018年度QS世界大學(xué)排名中，RMIT藝術(shù)與設(shè)計專業(yè)排名第11名，同時也為全澳之首。建筑與建造環(huán)境專業(yè)世界第26名，商學(xué)及管理學(xué)系位于全球50-100位，同時計算機、財經(jīng)及會計學(xué)系也列入全球前100名之中。2018年6月26日麻省理工學(xué)院與RMIT正式建立合作關(guān)系，允許學(xué)生獲得研究學(xué)位的學(xué)分。
